CHILI FRIES
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1 medium onion, diced fine
salt and pepper, to taste
1 (15 oz.) can chili no beans (your choice; I use Wolf)
1 env. chili seasoning mix
1 tsp. chili powder
6 medium potatoes
vegetable oil, for frying
shredded cheddar cheese, for sprinkling

Brown ground beef, onion and season with salt and pepper. Drain any excess fat. Add the chili, seasoning mix and powder then follow can directions.

Meanwhile, prepare home fries: Peel the potatoes and wash them good. Cut the potatoes down the middle and cut like fries.

In a deep fryer add vegetable oil to the line of the deep fryer. Let the oil get hot (360°F). Once it's hot add the fries. Let the fries get golden brown.

Transfer the fries to a plate lined with paper towels to drain.

Prepare each serving with a handful of fries, chili, then topped with shredded cheese.

I tried this recipe and it was a hit! The chili was spicy and the fries were crispy. It's a perfect meal for a lazy Sunday night!
