CHOCOLATE CHIP MERINGUES 
3 egg whites, room temperature
Pinch of salt
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Chocolate chips

Beat egg whites. Sprinkle in sugar and salt 1/3 at a time. Beat stiff. Add vanilla and fold in some chocolate chips (about 1 cup). Place meringues on brown paper on cookie sheets. Bake at 275 degrees for 45 minutes.
