MOTHER'S NUT CAKE 
1 lb. butter
7 eggs
3 c. flour
1 c. raisins
3 c. sugar
1 c. apple jelly
1 tbsp. vanilla
2 c. pecans
2 c. walnuts

Cream butter and sugar well; beat eggs one at a time; add jelly. Mix 2 cups flour in cake batter. Mix nuts and raisins with 1 cup flour.

Put in tube pan and bake 1 1/2 hours at 225 degrees.
