NORWEGIAN CHRISTMAS COOKIES 
Yolks of 4 hard boiled eggs
1 lb. butter
4 egg yolks, beaten until light
1 3/4 c. powdered sugar, sifted
6 c. flour

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Slice hard boiled yolks and cream with butter and sugar. Add beaten yolks. Mix well. Stir in flour. Roll a small amount of dough and shape into a wreath, overlapping ends into a knot. Touch with a dab of beaten egg white where knot is. Bake until lightly browned.
