BREAD STUFFING SERVED WITH
TURKEY
 
1 loaf white bread
3/4 lb. butter, melted
1 c. coarsely chopped nuts
1 c. raisins
1 c. sugar (more or less, depending on desired sweetness)

Break bread into small pieces. In a large pan, slowly melt butter. Add bread and stir over low heat. Add sugar. Stir together well. Add nuts and raisins. Continue to cook until nicely browned. Remove from heat and cover. Serve warm.
