1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
3 tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (5 oz.) can evaporated milk
1/2 stick butter, melted

Mix above and pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes or until set. Can leave out cocoa and add 1 cup pecans or 1 cup coconut, may want to reduce sugar for coconut. This makes French Coconut.
