CHESS PIE 
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 stick butter (melted)
2 eggs
Dash salt
1 sm. can evaporated milk
1 tsp. vanilla

(Variation: Add coconut for coconut pie or add 2 tablespoons cocoa for chocolate chess.)

Mix all ingredients together. Pour into unbaked pie shell and bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
