SCALLOPED POTATOES WITH PORK
CHOPS
 
6 pork chops
1 tbsp. fat
5 c. sliced potatoes
6 slices American cheese
1 tsp. salt, 1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. chopped onions
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 1/4 c. milk

Brown chops on 1 side in hot fat. Place half of potatoes in greased baking pan. Top with cheese slices. Add remaining potatoes. Place pork chops, browned side up, on potatoes. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Cook onions in drippings in skillet until tender. Add soup and milk. Heat. Pour over pork chops. Cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Remove foil and bake 30 more minutes.
