OLD FASHIONED BUTTER COOKIES 
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. cream butter
3/4 c. sugar
1 egg
2 tbsp. cream
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Sift flour with baking powder and salt. Cream butter. Gradually add sugar, creaming well. Stir in egg, cream and vanilla. Add dry ingredients; mix well. Chill if necessary. Roll out, 1/3 at a time, on floured surface to 1/8 inch thickness. Cut into desired shapes. Place on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 400 degrees for 5-8 minutes until delicately browned. Decorate with Pillsbury cookie decorators.
