BRAN FRUIT BREAD 
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. mashed banana or mincemeat pie filling or mushy applesauce
1 1/2 c. All Bran cereal
1/2 c. butter
2 eggs

Stir together first 4 ingredients (set aside). Combine cereal with fruit. Let stand to moisten cereal. In a large bowl, cream butter with sugar; ad eggs. Beat well. Stir in cereal mixture. Add flour mixture, stir in just to blend well. Place batter into a 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees about 1 hour. Test for doneness.
