EIGHT LAYER SALAD 
Shredded or chopped head of lettuce
1/2 c. chopped bell pepper
2/3 c. chopped celery
1/2 c. thin sliced red onion
1 can LeSueur English peas
1 pt. mayonnaise
3/4 c. grated cheese
3/4 c. crisp fried bacon

Spread lettuce in dish and put remaining ingredients over lettuce. spread bell pepper, then celery, red onion and English peas. Cover this with mayonnaise, sealing edges completely. Cover with grated cheese. Crumble bacon over this. Seal with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
