BEER CHEESE PUFFS | |
1 c. beer 1/4 c. butter 1 c. flour 1 tsp. Worcestershire 1/2 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper 2 tsp. caraway seeds (optional) 1 1/2 c. shredded Swiss cheese 4 eggs Combine beer and butter in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil. Add flour all at once and beat until mixture forms a ball. Remove from heat. Add seasonings and cheese. Beat until blended and smooth. Add eggs, one at a time beating well after each addition. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake in hot oven (400 degrees) for approximately 20 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on wire rack. When ready to serve, remove tops from shells, scoop out to make hollow. Fill with favorite salad (seafood, chicken, tuna, etc.). |
