MAKE - AHEAD MEAT MIX 
3 lb. ground turkey or beef
2 1/2 c. chopped onion
2 cloves garlic, minced
3 (15 oz.) cans tomato sauce
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
3/4 c. water
1/4 tsp. pepper

Combine first 4 ingredients in a Dutch oven; cook until meat is browned, stirring to crumble. Drain. Add remaining ingredients; simmer uncovered, 20 minutes stirring occasionally. Cool. Put 3 cups mix each into 3 freezer containers. Freeze. Yields 9 cups.

For sloppy Joes: Thaw 2 cups meat mix and heat thoroughly. Serve on buns. Serves 6.

Chili: Thaw 3 cups meat mix; add 15 1/2 ounce Mexican style beans, undrained and 2 teaspoons chili powder. Simmer 10 minutes.

Spaghetti: Thaw 3 cups meat mix; add 8 ounce can tomato sauce, 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano and 1/2 teaspoon dried whole basil. Simmer 10 minutes. Serve over hot spaghetti.
