BEER BATTER 
1 1/3 c. flour
2 grated Parmesan cheese
1 tbsp. chopped parsley
1 tsp. salt
Dash of garlic powder
1 tbsp. olive oil
2 beaten egg yolks
1 1/4 c. flat beer
2 stiffly beaten egg whites

In mixing bowl, combine flour, Parmesan cheese, parsley, salt, and garlic powder. Stir in olive oil, egg yolks, and beer. Beat until smooth, fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Dip fresh vegetables, chicken or fish into batter and deep fry.
