J.R.'S GREAT PARTY MEATBALLS | |
MEATBALLS: 1 lb. ground round beef 1 lb. mild bulk pork sausage 2 eggs, beaten 1/2 cup finely crushed cracker crumbs 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese In a bowl combine ingredients and mix well. Roll mixture into small balls. Place on baking sheet and bake at 375°F for 20 minutes. SAUCE: 1/4 cup RED French dressing 1 (14 oz.) bottle ketchup (Hunts) 1/2 cup brown sugar 1 (10 oz.) jar grape jelly 1/2 tsp. garlic powder Combine French dressing, ketchup, brown sugar, grape jelly and garlic powder. Put sauce in Crock-Pot. Add meatballs to sauce. Note: The secret to this recipe is to have sauce ready in Crock-Pot and add meatballs to sauce just as they come out of oven. Heat on medium, stirring every once in awhile. Cook until heated through. Submitted by: J.R. |
