1/2 lb. butter, softened
Pinch of salt
3 tbsp. sugar
3 c. flour
1 c. pecans, chopped
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix all ingredients thoroughly. Pinch off and shape in fingers. Bake in moderate oven on a greased cookie sheet. When cold roll in powdered sugar.
