JAN'S QUICHE LORRAINE | |
1 9" deep dish pastry shell 8 slices bacon, fried crisp, crumbled 8 oz. shredded Swiss cheese (2 c.) 1 tbsp. flour 1/2 tsp. salt Dash nutmeg 3 beaten eggs 1 3/4 c. milk Bake pastry shell 7 minutes at 450 degrees, or until lightly browned. Remove from oven and reduce oven temperature to 325 degrees. Reserve 2 tablespoons bacon. Place remaining bacon in pastry shell; add cheese. Combine remaining ingredients; pour over cheese. Garnish with reserved bacon. Bake at 325 degrees for 35-40 minutes, or until almost set in the center. Cool 10-15 minutes before serving. |
