QUICHE LORRAINE | |
1 1/2 c. shredded Swiss cheese 8 slices bacon, crumbled 2 tbsp. parsley 1/4 c. chopped onion 1 c. sliced mushrooms 1 tbsp. flour 1/2 tsp. salt Dash of pepper 4 eggs, beaten 1 1/2 c. light cream 1 pie crust Prebake pie crust for 5 minutes at 350 degrees. Saute onion, parsley and mushrooms. In bacon fat until cooked. Add salt, pepper and flour; saute 1 additional minute. Layer cheese in bottom of crust, then other ingredients. Pour the combined eggs and cream over it. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes before serving. |
