ITALIAN CAKE 
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. Crisco
1/2 c. butter
1 c. buttermilk
5 egg yolks
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
2 c. coconut
1 c. pecans

Cream sugar and Crisco. Add eggs, milk and all other ingredients. Beat 5 egg whites stiff and fold in. Bake at 325 degrees. Makes 3.

ICING:

1 box powdered sugar
1 stick butter, well softened
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. coconut
1 c. pecans
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese

Cream sugar and butter. Add cream cheese. Add remaining ingredients.
