ITALIAN CREAM CHEESE CAKE 
1 stick butter
1/2 c. cooking oil
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. buttermilk
5 eggs, separated
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. flaked coconut
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter, sugar and oil; add egg yolks. Alternate milk and dry ingredients while continuing to mix. Add coconut, nuts and vanilla. Fold in egg whites, beaten stiff. Bake at 350 degrees in 3 pans for 30 minutes. Let cool and frost with following icing.

ICING:

1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
1 stick butter
1 box confectioners' sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine ingredients; frost and sprinkle finely chopped black walnuts on top of icing.
