MARMALADE COOKIES 
1/2 c. butter (1/4 lb.)
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. marmalade
1 3/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1/3 tsp. baking powder

Cream and beat together first four ingredients. Then add to it the next 4 ingredients. Use 1 tablespoonful of batter and drop onto a greased cookie sheet. Bake in 350 degree oven for 12-15 minutes. This may be used as a cake (8 x 8 inch pan) that has been greased and floured. Bake 35-40 minutes. (You may add 1/2 cup raisins also, but add to first mixture and let soften for 20 minutes.)
