3 cups nuts
1 cup sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
5 tbsp. water
1 tbsp. vanilla

Combine all ingredients except vanilla. Cook on low heat until mixture spins a thread when dropped from spoon (230°F to 234°F on candy thermometer).

Add vanilla. Turn on buttered cookie sheet.

Cooks Note: Use of a candy thermometer is recommended.
