MARSHMALLOW COCONUT DESSERT 
2 pts. plain yogurt
1 (12 oz.) bag coconut
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
2 cans mandarin oranges, drained
1 bag miniature marshmallows
1/2 c. Maraschino cherries, halved

Mix in large bowl; cover and allow flavor to develop overnight. This was once made with sour cream, but in the interests of health, plain yogurt is a good substitute. A finely chopped banana may be added before serving but will turn an unappealing brown if allowed to stand.
