BANANA SPLIT CAKE 
1 stick butter
1 c. flour
2 c. pecans, finely chopped
2 (8 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese
1 tsp. vanilla
1 box powdered sugar
4 or 5 bananas
Lg. can crushed pineapple
1 pkg. frozen strawberries
Cool Whip
Few chocolate chips

Mix butter, flour and pecans and spread on bottom of 12 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Cool.

Combine cream cheese, vanilla and sugar. Spread over crust. Slice 4 or 5 bananas over cheese mixture. Drain a large can of crushed pineapple and spread over bananas. Add a package of frozen strawberries, sliced, 1 cup chopped pecans and a few chocolate chips. Top with a large carton of Cool Whip. Sprinkle chopped pecans over the top. Chill overnight or for several hours. The bananas will not turn brown.
