BUTTER-CRUST BEER BREAD 
2 c. self-rising flour
3 tbsp. sugar
1 (12 oz.) can beef, do not use light beer
4 tbsp. unsalted butter, melted

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Oil or butter a standard loaf pan. If you don't have self-rising flour, add 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder and 1 teaspoon salt to 2 cups flour (all-purpose).

In bowl, combine flour, sugar and beer; mix with a wooden spoon until well-blended and sticky, about 1 minute. Pour the dough into the prepared pan and bake for 30 minutes. Remove from oven and pour the melted butter over the top. Bake for 30 minutes more, then remove and serve with whipped butter.
