RAISIN KIDDIE BARS 
1 1/4 c. sifted flour
1 1/4 c. brown sugar, packed
1/2 c. butter
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. dark or golden raisins, chopped
1/2 c. candied cherries, chopped
1/2 c. flaked coconut
1/2 c. pecans, chopped

Blend 1 cup flour, 1/4 cup brown sugar and butter together well. Press in layer on bottom of an 8 or 9 inch square pan. Bake in moderate oven (350 degrees) 10 minutes. Meanwhile, beat eggs well. Gradually beat in remaining 1 cup brown sugar. Resift remaining 1/4 cup flour, baking powder and salt together. Stir into egg mixture. Blend in raisins, cherries, coconut and pecans. Spoon over baked crust. Return to oven and continue baking about 25 minutes longer. Cool and cut into bars or small squares. Makes about 2 dozen bars.
