NEVER FAIL CHOCOLATE CAKE 
1 egg
1/2 c. cocoa
1/2 c. soft shortening
1/2 c. sour milk
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. boiling water

Put ingredients in bowl in order given. Do not stir until last item is added. Then beat well. Bake at 350 degrees. Very moist.
