2 c. brown sugar
1 c. shortening
1 c. sour milk
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
2/3 c. Hershey's cocoa or 4 chocolate squares
3-4 tbsp. oil
3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda

Cream brown sugar and shortening. Add milk and mix. Add eggs and vanilla and mix well. Add cocoa and oil and mix. Mix the flour and baking soda together and add to the cocoa mixture. Drop by teaspoons on a lightly greased cookie. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Makes 3-4 dozen.
