CANNELLONI 
1 (8 oz.) pkg. lasagne noodles
1 lb. Ricotta or cottage cheese
1/2 lb. cream cheese
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/4 c. chopped chives or parsley
1/4 c. butter, creamed
Salt and pepper to taste
Italian tomato sauce
1 lb. Mozzarella cheese
Grate Parmesan cheese

Cook noodles according to package. Drain and cool. Mix next 6 ingredients together. Spread a tablespoonful on each cooked noodle (or 1/2 a noodle if you want small rolls). Roll tight. Place rolls, close together, in baking dish. Pour Italian tomato sauce or 2 cans tomato paste mixed with 3 cups water over the rolls. Cut thin slices of Mozzarella cheese and place a slice on each roll. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Bake 30 minutes at 375 degrees. For heartier dish, add any chopped, cooked meat to the filling. Serves 4 to 6.
