MONKEY BREAD | |
1/2 c. sugar 1 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 c. butter 1/2 c. nuts 1 c. brown sugar 3 (10 oz.) cans refrigerated buttermilk biscuits Sprinkle nuts on the bottom of a well greased pan. Set aside. Combine cinnamon and sugar. Cut biscuits into thirds and roll each piece in the cinnamon sugar mixture. Layer evenly around the pan. Melt the butter and brown sugar, and pour over the dough. Bake for 35 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a serving dish. These can be frozen and reheated. Serves 10. |
