PAPER BAG CARAMEL CORN -
MICROWAVE
 
1 c. brown sugar
1 stick butter
1/2 c. white corn syrup
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. popping corn

Pop corn by your regular method; set aside. Bring to boil in 2 quart microwave batter bowl with handle, sugar, butter, syrup and salt. Cook 2 minutes at full power. Remove, add baking soda, stir well. Spray Pam inside large size grocery bag. Pour popped corn into bag. Pour hot syrup over popped corn. Fold down top of bag and shake. Make sure fold is tight, place bag in microwave and cook at full power 1 1/2 minutes. Shake and cook 1 1/2 minutes more at full power. Remove, open carefully and pour on cookie sheet to cool right away. When cool, store in air tight container.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
