BISCUIT MIX 
Use for pizza or biscuits.

12 c. flour
6 tbsp. baking powder
3 tbsp. salt
4 1/2 tbsp. sugar
1 1/2 c. shortening

Sift flour, then measure it and sift again with the baking powder, salt and sugar. Sift the mixture twice, now add shortening. Cut this in with two knives until the mixture is like fine crumbs. Place in a covered container and store in refrigerator or freeze.

BISCUITS:

2 c. biscuit mix
2/3 c. milk

Roll out. Bake at 450 degrees for 12 minutes.

PIZZA:

3/4 c. warm water
1 pkg. active dry yeast
3/4 c. chipped onion
2 cans tomato sauce or soup
2 1/2 c. biscuit mix
Meat, whatever you like
2-4 oz. mushrooms, oregano, salt, pepper, cheese

Dissolve yeast in water, add biscuit mix; beat. Knead 20 times on surface dusted with biscuit mix dough. Divide into 2 parts, roll out to fit 2 round ungreased pans. Spread onions, tomato and etc. and mushrooms on dough. Top with cheese and oregano.

Bake 15 to 20 minutes in 425°F oven and browned on edges.
