OATMEAL BUTTER CRISPS 
1 c. quick oats
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 stick butter
1 egg
2 tbsp. + 1 tsp. flour
1/4 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. vanilla

Mix dry ingredients, add melted butter, and egg. Let stand overnight in refrigerator. Drop by 1/4 teaspoon on aluminum foil on top of cookie sheet. (Go light when measuring 1/4 teaspoon - it may make cookies too thick. Be guided by first batch.) Bake at 325 degrees until brown. Leave on foil for several minutes, then remove and let cool.
