SEE-IN-THE-DARK BROWNIE CAKE | |
1 c. flour 1/2 c. packed brown sugar 1/3 c. unsweetened cocoa 1/4 c. toasted wheat germ 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1 1/2 c. carrot, finely chopped 2/3 c. cooking oil 2 eggs 2 tbsp. milk 1/2 tsp. vanilla Grease and lightly flour 9" round baking pan. In large bowl stir together flour, brown sugar, sugar, cocoa powder, wheat germ, baking powder and soda. Add carrots, oil, eggs, milk and vanilla. Beat with an electric mixer on low just until combined. Beat for 2 minutes on medium speed, scraping bowl occasionally. Turn batter into prepared baking pan. Bake at 325 degree for 40 to 45 minutes or until cake tests done. Cool 10 minutes on wire rack. Remove from pan and cool completely. |
