SPICED PUMPKIN BREAD | |
3 1/2 c. all-purpose flour 3 c. sugar 2 tsp. baking soda 2 tsp. salt 2 tsp. ground allspice 1 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. ground nutmeg 1 tsp. ground cinnamon 1/2 tsp. ground cloves 4 eggs 1 (15 oz.) can solid-pack pumpkin 3/4 c. vegetable oil 2/3 c. water In a large bowl, combine the dry ingredients. In another bowl, combine the eggs, pumpkin, oil and water; mix well. Stir into dry ingredients just until moistened. Pour into three greased 8 x 4 x 2-inch loaf pans. Bake at 350°F for 50 to 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes before removing from pans to wire racks to cool completely. |
