SOFT MOLASSES COOKIES 
1 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 c. sour milk
2 eggs
1 c. molasses
4 c. flour
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. ginger
2 tsp. baking soda

Refrigerate for at least an hour. Roll out thick. Cut out with cookie cutter. Sprinkle with sugar. Bake 10 to 12 minutes at 375 degrees.
