NAPA CABBAGE SALAD 
6 tbsp. butter
1 c. chow mein noodles
3/4 c. slivered almonds
5 green onions, chopped
1 head Napa cabbage
1 c. salad oil
3 tsp. soy sauce
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. vinegar

Brown noodles in butter (watch carefully. Burns easily). Cool. Mix almonds, onions and cabbage. Mix separately oil, soy sauce, sugar and vinegar. Pour over cabbage mixture. Add noodles. Serve immediately.
