BUTTER PECAN-NUT BARS 
1 pkg. butter pecan cake mix
1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. packed brown sugar
1/4 c. water
2 eggs
3/4 c. finely chopped nuts
Vanilla glaze
1/2 c. finely chopped nuts

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Grease and flour 9x13 inch pan. Mix about half of the dry cake mix, the butter, brown sugar, water and eggs in large bowl until smooth. Stir in remaining cake mix and 3/4 cup nuts. Spread evenly in pan. Bake until top feels firm when touched, 25-30 minutes. Do not over bake.

Run knife around edges while warm to loosen sides, cool; spread with vanilla glaze. Sprinkle with 1/2 cup nuts. Cut into bars. About 2 dozen.

VANILLA GLAZE: Mix 1/4 cup butter, softened, 2 cups powdered sugar, 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla and 2 tablespoons hot water. May stir 1-2 teaspoon additional hot water until glaze is of desired consistency.
