RAISIN GINGER BARS 
3/4 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1/4 c. dark molasses
1 tsp. baking soda
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. raisins (washed in hot water & well drained)

Cream the butter, sugar and egg. Blend in molasses. Sift dry ingredients and mix well. Stir in raisins. Refrigerate for 1 hour.

Separate into 3 parts and roll into 3 long rolls. Place on cookie sheet (ungreased) and pat slightly, having rolls extend lengthwise to each end. Bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes. Cut diagonally into bars immediately. Makes 30 bars.
