CHEF DONA'S SAUERKRAUT BALLS 
4 1/2 lb. pork sausage
1 med. diced onion
1 qt. sauerkraut (chopped)
1 lb. cream cheese
1/4 c. yellow prepared mustard
Salt and pepper to taste
1 egg
1 c. flour (add more, if needed)

EGG WASH:

3 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 c. milk
Bread crumbs

Cook sausage and onions. Add a little water, so sausage won't stick to pan. Add egg, sauerkraut, cream cheese, mustard, salt and pepper. Refrigerate until firm. Shape into small balls, roll in flour, then egg wash, then bread crumbs. Deep fat fry.
