AUNT LUCIA'S WHEAT GERM MUFFINS 
1 egg
1/2 c. sugar
1 1/4 c. milk
1/3 c. butter, melted
1 c flour, sifted
1/4 tsp. salt
4 tsp. baking powder
1 c. wheat germ

Preheat oven to 425 degrees.

Beat together in large bowl the egg, sugar, milk and butter.

Mix into milk mixture the flour, salt and baking powder. Fold in one cup wheat germ.

Spoon mixture into lined or greased muffin tins.

Bake at 425 degrees for 20 minutes. Test with cake tester to see if done.
