PEPPY STUFFED PEPPERS | |
4 green peppers 2 c. cooked rice 1 1/2 tsp. salt 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce 1 lb. ground beef 1/4 c. onion, chopped 1/8 tsp. pepper Cut green peppers in half lengthwise, remove seeds and wash. Combine ground beef with rice, onion, salt, pepper and 1/2 can tomato sauce. Mound into pepper halves and place in a large baking dish. Pour tomato sauce on top of each pepper. Cover tightly and bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. |
