PIE DOUGH 
3 c. self rising flour, sifted
1 c. shortening

Mix together. Mix 3/4 cup water, 1/2 teaspoon vinegar, and 1/2 teaspoon sugar together. Mix with flour. Work dough until soft, approximately 5 minutes. Roll thin onto a floured board. Bake at 400 degrees until slightly browned.

For a filling with no top crust, punch fork holes on the bottom crust. For top crust, punch holes to let out steam once the filling is in place.
