YUMMY PEACH COFFEE CAKE 
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1 egg
2 1/2 c. flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
2 c. fresh peaches, peeled and sliced

TOPPING:

1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. butter
3/4 c. peach schnapps liqueur

Beat 3/4 cup sugar and butter until light. Add egg, beat well. Mix together 2 cups flour, baking powder and salt. Add flour mixture and milk alternately to beaten mixture. Beat until smooth. Spread into greased 8x8 inch pan. Top with peaches.

Combine remaining 1/2 cup flour and 1/2 cup sugar, cut in butter until crumbly. Sprinkle over peaches. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes. Remove, pour peach schnapps over cake. Let cool slightly. Serve warm.
