FABULOUS FLUFFY ROLLS | |
1 pkg. dry yeast 1/4 c. warm water 1 c. scalded milk 1/2 c. sugar 1/2 c. oil 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. vanilla 2 eggs, beaten 1/2 tsp. baking soda 4 c. flour Dissolve yeast in 1/4 cup warm water. Add cooled, scalded milk, sugar, salt, oil, vanilla, soda, and eggs; add flour, mix well. Cover and let stand overnight. Next morning knead on lightly floured board, shape into desired shapes. Place 1-2 inches apart on greased baking sheet. Let rise several hours before baking or all day. Bake 12-15 minutes at 350 degrees. These stay light and delicious no matter how long you let them rise. |
