1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg
2 tbsp. Cool Whip whip cream
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder

Cream butter, gradually add sugar and whip cream; mix well. Blend in egg. Add soda, baking powder, salt and vanilla. Gradually add flour. Chill until firm. Roll dough 1/2 inch thick, cut with animal cookie cutters (dipped in flour). Bake at 400 degrees for 5-7 minutes. Cool. Decorate and frost. (To hang on tree put small hole in cookie.)
