ROCKY ROAD BROWNIES 
3 oz. bitter chocolate
1/2 c. butter
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt

TOPPING:

3 tbsp. butter
6 oz. (1 c.) semi sweet chocolate pieces
2 c. miniature marshmallows
1/2 c. coarsely chopped walnuts

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9" square pan. Melt chocolate and butter in saucepan over very low heat, stirring constantly or microwave at medium (50%) power 2 to 3 minutes, stirring after 2 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in sugar. Beat in eggs, one at a time, beating well. Blend in vanilla. Add flour and salt. Mix well. Spread in pan and bake about 50 minutes. Do NOT turn off oven.

Cool in pan on rack for 10 minutes.

While cooling, prepare topping. Melt butter and chocolate in saucepan. Sprinkle brownies evenly with marshmallows and walnuts. Return to oven. Bake for another 3 minutes. Drizzle with melted chocolate. Cool in pan. Cut into squares.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
