Crazy Cake and Frosting

This recipe IS the one my mother made for years and I LOVE it. However, cooking time is based on a lot of variables like humidity and each oven's heat regulator, so I'd suggest cooking time of 30-40 minutes, testing doneness with the toothpick method. Mom always tripled the filling recipe (YUM). The frosting should be beaten until no longer glossy and then IMMEDIATELY drizzled onto filling (it will not spread like other frostings, it's more like fudge). DEFINITELY worth the effort!

This recipe is the one my mother taught me and we have enjoyed over and over all these years, however this web site is absolutely wonderful and easy to use! The ABSOLUTE BEST PART is that there are NO ADS or PAGES AND PAGES RAMBLING BLOGS to scroll through before finally setting your eyes on the recipes or even the ingredient list! I am so relieved to finally find a web site like this!! Thank you so much!!
