CRAZY CAKE WITH FLUFFY WHITE
FROSTING
 
CAKE:

3 c. flour
2 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1/3 c. cocoa
3/4 c. oil
2 tbsp. vinegar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. water

Mix well. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes.

FROSTING:

2 egg whites
1/3 c. white corn syrup
2 tbsp. water
3/4 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
1/4 tsp. salt

Use hand mixer over double boiler until peaks form. Remove from heat and add 1 teaspoon vanilla. Beat until ready to spread.
