CHERRY MASH CANDY 
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
2/3 c. evaporated milk
12 lg. marshmallows
Dash of salt
1 (6 oz.) cherry chips
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
3/4 c. peanut butter
1 lg. pkg. crushed salted peanuts

Combine sugar, buttermilk, salt, marshmallows. Stir and cook over medium heat until it boils; boil 5 minutes. Take off heat and stir in cherry chips; add vanilla. Spread in buttered 9 x 13 inch pan. Chill; melt chocolate chips and peanut butter together and add nuts. Spread over cherry-chip mixture. Chill again and cut into squares. Makes 3 pounds.
